MAZARA EDITION LENDS ITS NAME FROM THE SICILIAN CITY MAZARA DEL VALLO

In the ninth century, BERBER and ARAB soldiers arrived at the city’s shores and conquered the volcanic island, the JEWEL OF THE MEDITERRANEAN. For 260 years, the EMIRATE OF SICILY thrived with abundant culture, literature, and visionary architecture. From the Palazzo della Zisa to the rich CALLIGRAPHY MANUSCRIPTS and labyrinth citadels, this monumental ARAB LEGACY lives on today.
