MAZARA EDITION LAUNCHES MAJLON FOR THE UNITED ARAB EMBASSY IN FRANCE AND MONACO AT THE SALLE LABROUSTE, FRENCH NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ART HISTORY
PARIS, JUNE 24TH, 2024: Her Excellency Hend Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the French Republic, hosted the 10th edition of the Majlon at the Library of the French National Institute of Art History (INHA).
The event was held at the renowned architectural masterpiece, Salle Labrouste, and featured the launch of the embassy’s book Majlon—Building Bridges Through Diplomacy (Mazara Edition).
Published in Arabic, French, and English, the Majlon book celebrates the deep-rooted friendship between the United Arab Emirates and the French Republic, and underlines key aspects of bilateral ties, specifically on diplomacy and economy, women’s empowerment, coexistence, heritage, art, culture, and sustainable development.
For its 10th edition, the Majlon convened various high-level political, cultural, and business leaders, including His Excellency Jack Lang, Chair of the Arab World Institute; His Excellency Arnaud Ngatcha, Deputy Mayor of the City of Paris; Olivier Cadic, Senator of French citizens abroad; Baron Éric de Rothschild; Hélène Valade, Environmental Development Director of LVMH; and Amin Kouider, conductor and UNESCO Artist for Peace. DUBAI, JULY 4, 2024: ”This June, Her Excellency Hend Al Otaiba, UAE’s first ever female ambassador to France, celebrated a milestone moment in her career: the launch of the UAE Embassy’s new book. A collaborative effort between the ambassador and UAE-based publishing house Mazara Edition, the book, titled Majlon, made its grand debut at the French National Library, Salle Labrouste, in the presence of noteworthy names including Baron Eric de Rothschild, Arab World Institute President Jack Lang, and Vogue Arabia editor-in-chief Manuel Arnaut. PARIS, JULY 10, 2024: Mazara Edition launched its French, Arabic, and English publication Majlon, Building Bridges Through Diplomacy, for the United Arab Emirates in Paris on June 24th, 2024. Under the creative direction of Mazara Edition, the launch was held in the privatized Salle Labrouste, National Institute of History of Art, a masterpiece of 18th century French architecture.
